I have been studying bassoon since 7th grade, but I first developed a passion for music at the age of four when my father began teaching me guitar. I have played in many local groups including Clark College Orchestra, Clark College Concert Band, Portland Choir and Orchestra, and Columbia Theater and Arts Foundation. I hold an Associate of Arts degree in Music from Clark College. I craft my own reeds and take custom handmade reed commissions, ensuring the highest quality for my students and customers. I look forward to helping my students develop the technical skills and musical foundation necessary to become confident, expressive bassoonists.
