I have been studying the bassoon for 8 years, but I first developed a passion for music at the age of four when my father began teaching me guitar. I played in band throughout middle school and high school taking every possible opportunity to play. I have played in many local groups since high school and I am currently playing with the Clark College Concert Band, and the Clark College Orchestra. I have also played saxophone with the Clark College Pep Band. This June, I will graduate with an associate degree in music, studying bassoon. I also make my own reeds and accept reed commissions. I look forward to helping my students develop the fundamentals necessary to be a great musician and bassoonist.
