Josette Shepherd began her violin studies at age five with Laura Elena Jáuregui Wynter as well as Eva Richie. Josette was trained with the Suzuki method books and was also raised by two violinists, Dr. Stephen Shepherd and Dr. Lanette Shepherd. She has been involved in various groups over the years including Longview Schools Chamber Orchestra as well as pit orchestras for musicals. Josette has 13 years of playing experience and will be a registered SAA violin teacher this coming August of 2019.
