Owen has been teaching acoustic and electric guitar, voice, performance, songwriting, and production for 15+ years. He has a Master’s in Music (Guitar Performance) from the University of Southern California and a Master’s in Education from the University of Colorado, Denver (CU Denver). Owen was a long-time faculty member in the College of Arts & Media at CU Denver and served as the founder and director of the Singer/Songwriter program there before moving to Vancouver. He has performed with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, Kina Grannis, Javier Colon (winner of The Voice: Season 1) and in venues all over the U.S. as a solo artist and sideman. His songs have been featured on NBC Sports and the TV show Heartland.
